Airport installs more security measures
By David Dinell
The Wichita (KS) Business Journal
The city of Wichita put increased security measures in place at Wichita
Mid-Continent Airport Monday due to the orange, or high, threat level
assessment of the federal government.
A checkpoint station for vehicle inspections went into operation near the
west public parking entrance in the afternoon.
Station personnel will inspect all vehicles that are headed to the front of
the terminal or parking in the short-term parking lot.
