Stuck At A Chicago Airport? You Lucky Thing!
O'Hare Takes Top Concessions Honors, Midway Recognized Too
WMAQ-TV (NBC), IL

CHICAGO -- Concessions at O'Hare International and Midway airports took
first place in three categories from an industry publication.

Airport Revenue News named O'Hare tops in two categories: Best Redeveloped
Concessions Program and Best Single Terminal, for the concessions in
Terminal 1.

An annual poll by the magazine also rated Midway the Airport with the Best
Redeveloped Concessions.

Aviation Commissioner Thomas R. Walker said in a news release that it's
important that travelers have "a true Chicago culinary experience without
ever leaving the airport."

The release noted that O'Hare offers full-service restaurants, including
Billy Goat's, Wolfgang Puck's, and Berghoff. Concessions at O'Hare also
include retail shops operated by the Field Museum and the Chicago Historical
Society.

Midway has a 50,000 square-foot concessions triangle called "Midway
Boulevard," the release said, and provides food from many well-known Chicago
restaurants, including Harry Caray's, Potbelly Sandwich Works, and Gold
Coast Dogs.
