Toledo Airport Security
WTVG, OH

Some tense moments this morning at Toledo Express Airport. Police arrested a
Toledo man after he breached security and made his way to a plane.

Police say that's under investigation, they do know the man was arrested
shortly after airline employees spotted him. Obviously, he wasn't supposed
to be wandering around airplanes. An airport on edge tonight. Somehow this
man, 24-year-old Carlos Dukes, got right up to a US Airways plane getting
ready for a flight to Pittsburgh. Authorities say it happened between 6 and
7 this morning near gate one on the east side of the terminal. Airport
officials say the US Airways flight was delayed, but eventually took off.
Several travelers we talked with say they're somewhat concerned, but have no
fears of flying.

In any case port authority police have questions to answer such as "how and
why, and assure this doesn't happen again, we take this very seriously".
While the investigation continues Dukes is behind bars in the Lucas county
jail. Dukes is charged with criminal trespass and inducing panic.

13-action news talked with the FBI late this afternoon, they did a
background check on Mr. Dukes and said his name did not come back
suspicious.
