Airport Security Breach
The Associated Press

A breach of security today at Portland International Airport. Airport
spokeswoman Elisa Dozono said at about 10 am, a person went through the
checkpoint that leads to concourse D and E and was asked to go through
again. But Dozono says the screeners couldn't find the person after heading
into the airport crowds. Screeners then had to take people off three flights
that were preparing to depart, so they could re-screen passengers again.
Dozono says about 500 passengers on Delta, United and American had to go
through screening again. Dozono said they're unsure whether it was a male or
female who breached the security and they have been unable to locate the
person. Federal workers have recently taken over screening at the airport.
