Talks begin on improving Mexico City airport
Mexico - El Financeiro
Mexico, -- The SCT (Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes), in
co-ordination with ASA (Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares) and the
Mexico City international airport has begun a process of consultation
with airlines and airport service companies in regard to possible
improvements in the infrastructure of the airport. There have been
several proposals in this area following the cancellation of the project
to build a new airport at Texcoco. These proposals are in the area of
remodeling and maintenance of terminals and dealing with congestion, as
there is no possibility of creating more runway space.
