Air New Zealand Says Offers Mount Cook Airport For Sale
DOW JONES NEWS
WELLINGTON -- Air New Zealand (A.AIZ) said Thursday it has offered Mount
Cook Airport for sale as part of its program to sell non-core assets.
Tenders are due by mid-August, the airline said in a statement.
The airport's terminal is only 1 year old. It was rebuilt after a fire
destroyed the original terminal in June 2000.
Air New Zealand said the airport is used by charter operators and the
Mount Cook Ski Plane service, which operates scenic flights in the area.
