ICA Sells OMA Stake To Aeroports de Paris For 11.4 Million Dollars
Mexico - El Economista

MEXICO CITY, Jan 22, 2001 (El Economista/Infolatina) -- Debt-laden Mexican
construction giant ICA said it would sell an 11.5-percent stake in airports
company Operador de Aeropuertos (OMA), which controls Grupo Aeroportuario
Centro-Norte, to partner Aeroports de Paris for 11.4 million dollars. ICA
will use the proceeds of the sale to pay off some of its estimated 400
million dollars in debt. Grupo Aeroportuario Centro-Norte operates 13
airports including Monterrey's international airport. The announcement comes
hard on the heels of news that ICA has sold its stakes in three joint
ventures to Vulcan Materials Company for 121 million dollars.
