MEXICO CITY, -- Mexico City International Airport this year will invest 470

system improvements and a variety of maintenance projects, airport senior
executive Roberto Canovas said. Canovas said the new parking lot will be
ready to use in August. The new terminal module will feature eight docking
bays equipped with telescopic passageways, he said. "This will improve
efficiency and passenger convenience, and aircraft servicing will be
completed in half the time," he said. The airport will spend a total of 270
million pesos on the new parking lot and terminal module, while the
remaining 200 million dollars will go to maintain its runways, access roads,
and power and drainage systems, Canovas said
