Two nabbed in airport cop assault
UPI
(NEW YORK) One suspect is in custody and another is being questioned by
police in Hartford, Conn., in the case of a Port Authority detective run
down this morning by suspected drug dealers at Kennedy airport. Police say
Philip Stevenson is hospitalized in critical but stable condition with
serious head injuries. The Port Authority says it was tipped off that two
men were bringing 120 pounds of marijuana into the country early this
morning and Stevenson and some other PA officers were sent to the scene to
investigate.
